About THe SRO K9 Books
Our Mission
Our mission is to inspire children to read more and increase emotional intelligence through literature. We believe that reading is an essential part of children’s growth and we strive to make it fun for them to read. Our book includes characters they will recognize as the K9 friends they rely on for safety and support in their schools and community.
About Our Team
Rex, Zeke, Riley, Bear and Otis are all real-life police working dogs. Rex, Riley Bear and Otis are Colorado’s first dual -purpose therapy/explosive detection dogs that work in schools and in our community. Zeke is a Therapy/electronics detection dog who also works in schools and the community. All five dogs also use their training and affection to make everyone’s day brighter.
Our Story
In 2022, Adam Nardi and John Gray began working on a story line that could deliver students a series of fun books that could teach important values such as empathy and emotional intelligence. John Gray and Jewell Nichols illustrated the book. This website is dedicated to promoting our books and literature. Our team of passionate writers and book lovers work tirelessly to bring you the latest updates on the series.

BACK THE BLUE K-9 FORCE IS A 501 (C) 3 NON-PROFIT ORGINAZATION WHICH PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT K-9 UNITS.
THEY ARE PROUD TO HAVE PURCHASED 13 K-9S FOR 5 DEPARTMENTS.
MANY DEPARTMENTS DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE FUNDS ALLOCATED FOR K-9 SAFETY OR MEDICAL NEEDS IN THEIR BUDGET. BACK THE BLUE K-9 FORCE PURCHASES THE SRO K9’S THAT WORK IN OUR SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY AS WELL AS THE EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS THEY NEED TO DO THEIR JOB.
